For quick queries, you can contact the library through our JustAsk LibChat instant messaging service. Libchat is staffed by  by staff from across the various library teams, so if one person cannot answer your question on the spot, they will refer it to the right person or team.

Attend a workshop

The library runs regular online workshops on a wide range of academic skills. Faculty librarians deliver the sessions on Referencing, Referencing Management Software (RefWorks), Ciritical Thinking, Finding and Evaluating Information, Using journals and more.

Academic support drop-ins are on every day and you can join either face to face in the library or online via Teams. They are ideal if you need to speak to somebody quickly about all aspects of studying. The drop-ins run by librarians are on Finding Information and Referencing

For more in depth queries about referencing or finding information, you can email your librarian (contact details on your subject guide) or book a one to one tutorial with your librarian. You have the choice of booking a tutorial either online (via Teams) or face to face (in the Kimberlin Library). Tutorial bookings are for 30 minutes.
