To ensure that materials on your list are available by the start of term, you need to create/update your list at least 8 weeks before your module starts. This will allow the Library time to check your list and order items that are not in stock. Below is the timeline for traditional and non-traditional modules.
Resource lists can be updated throughout the year but module leaders must update and send their lists for review by the deadline to ensure materials are available to students in time for teaching.
Once library staff have completed a list review, the list is automatically published i.e. no longer in draft
Published lists must be added to Blackboard so students can access them easily. In order to be included in the monthly report produced for the UDL board, lists must be added by using the ‘Resource list’ (Talis Aspire) tool under ‘Build Content’
Although lists that are rolled over are already published, staff must revise their lists and send them for review annually to ensure currency of content. This must be done at least 8 weeks before the start of the module.
