There are a number of ways in which students can provide us with feedback, either through social media, though speaking to a member of staff, contacting us via Just Ask or by completing a feedback form.
If you wish to make a complaint, all DMU students should first speak to a member of library staff either in person in Kimberlin Library or by contacting us via Just Ask. If you then feel we have been unable to address your complaint, please refer to the university complaints process which will direct you to the Early Resolution process. Any external members, DMU staff or visitors should use the feedback form.
We are committed to provided excellent customer service as can be demonstrated by our successful achievement of the government standard: Customer Service Excellence
In order to ensure we provide an excellent customer service we have a range of service standards that we measure ourselves against and take action if we fail to meet them.
We welcome feedback and in addition to our feedback form we gather insight about customer needs from the National Student Survey and measure satisfaction with our service through surveys, our feedback kiosk and by requesting feedback on our services. We create action plans based on results of the National Student Survey and consider ways we can improve our service from feedback received.
