DMU Museum: Supporting REF, TEF and KEF

DMU Museum showcases the rich history that surrounds our campus and tells the story of the university for over 150 years. We also manage two gallery spaces that support an ongoing temporary exhibitions programme.

REF

DMU Museum has supported REF through a variety of collaborations over the years.

As a university museum, we understand the partnership between museums and academics provides a unique opportunity to deliver mutually beneficial outputs. The museum environment offers enormous potential for disseminating research, inspiring new research and facilitating academic-public engagement avenues.

The museum team are happy to discuss new ideas that will support academic work including, but not limited to:

  • Exhibiting research*
  • Undertaking collaborative research / consulting for the further development of research
  • Product development / producing resources to enhance visitor experience
  • Supporting community impact and engagement events
  • Acquiring, digitising and cataloguing new collections

*If you are interested in proposing a temporary or pop-up exhibition, please read and submit the form below for further information. Due to delivery timescales and commitment required we can only facilitate a certain number of exhibition proposals a year, but we will aim to support your ideas where possible.
