Library Disability Services: Ask and Collect Service

This service is not currently available because our library is closed as part of DMU’s response to Covid-19.  A wider range of online resources is currently available to our students here, which may be of use until this service is available again.

Ask and Collect Service

Need help finding or collecting books, DVDs/CDs or pamphlets from our shelves?

Library staff are usually available to help you get what you need - if you are in Kimberlin or the Hugh Aston Law Library please ask for assistance.  Our staff are recognisable by the blue lanyards & ID badges they wear.

Alternatively, our Ask and Collect Service allows you to request items which will then be made available for you to borrow from the Reservations area on the Ground Floor of the Kimberlin Library, or at the staff desk in the Law Library - staff will be on hand to provide assistance if required.

Complete the online form to request the items that you want.

If you want to look at non-loanable material (like print journals or slides for example) or simply want a selection of books to look at for the duration of your stay in the library, then please contact the Library Disability team: libdis@dmu.ac.uk.
