Sustainable Development Goals Online (SDGO) collection

De Montfort University has been selected as the global lead by the United Nations for one of its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are aimed at transforming the lives of millions across the world by 2030. DMU will be spearheading work into SDG 16: “to promote peace, justice and strong institutions”. DMU may be the global hub for SDG 16, but it intends to embed all 17 SDGs into every aspect of university life and these goals will be the prism through which the institution explores new and exciting possibilities in teaching, research and student support.

To help DMU to embed SDGs into the curriculum, students and staff can now access a major new online resource relating to this work. Sustainable Development Goals Online (SDGO), provided by Taylor & Francis, is an interdisciplinary collection of digital content themed around the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The resource includes more than 10,000 carefully selected journal articles and over 1,000 eBook chapters in an online library covering the 17 SDGs. The platform also provides teaching and learning materials including presentations, videos, case studies, teaching guides, and lesson plans.

The SDGO site can be accessed from the DMU Library Database A-Z List or direct via the following link http://www.tandfebooks.com/action/ssostart?idp=https%3A%2F%2Flogin.library.dmu.ac.uk%2Foala%2Fmetadata&redirectUri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.taylorfrancis.com%2Fsdgo%2F. DMU students and staff will be asked to log in with their Single Sign On credentials for on and off campus coverage.
