Libchat screen sharing gudieWe are continuing to offer library and learning support (Maths Learning Centre, Librarians, CLaSS, Digital Support and Assistive Technology), details of the different online support methods you can receive can be found here in our guideThese include Libchat (live chat), online workshops, emails to online tutorials. Not forgetting our library website has a wealth of resources, if you're not sure, please just ask. If you have a query you can ask us by using our 'JustAsk LibChat' on the the library website, and text chat live with us.

One of the ways you can get learning support is by booking online tutorials. This is essentially having an online one-to-one tutorial.  This post highlights what you can expect depending on the nature of your query and how we are harnessing technology to support as appropriate.

Apart from text chat, we can use 'screen' sharing - what this means is that if required 'we' can share our computer with you so that you can see guided explanation if needed as well as allowing you to share your 'screen' (computer or laptop) if needed. As soon as you make a booking you will be sent a confirmation email with details of what to do to when joining your online booking. Don't worry you will be guided along the way with whom you have an appointment with. As part of the confirmation email upon booking you will also receive a link to our guide if screen sharing is required - LibChat Screenshare Help Guide.

Have a look at this guide to find out more!
