We are Trialing access to Bloomsbury's Online Collections

As a part of our continued work to secure additional widely-accessible resources for our staff and students we have gained access to a number of resources on a trial period. Likely to be of particular interest to our colleagues and students on a wide range of programs from media to fashion to architecture and more are the Bloomsbury Online Collections.

Bloomsbury is a world-wide publishing house with a wide range of collections that we can now gain access to until the 31st of May 2020. Accessing different collections is simple.

  • Berg Fashion Library - The Berg Fashion Library is a leading source of scholarly, multidisciplinary information on all aspects of dress and fashion worldwide, from pre-history to the present day.
  • Bloomsbury Collections Bloomsbury Collections offers excellence and originality in scholarship in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. Discover more than 8,000 eBook titles across many subject areas. The collections offer material from such sources as The Arden Shakespeare, Methuen Drama, and I.B. Tauris.
  • Bloomsbury Design Library - The Bloomsbury Design Library gives comprehensive global coverage of the history, theory and practice of crafts and design, from pre-historic times to the present day.
  • Drama Online Library - Drama Online introduces new writers alongside the most iconic names in playwriting history, providing contextual and critical background through scholarly works and practical guides. The collection's content meets the full range of teaching needs for theatre studies, literature courses and drama schools.
  • Screen Studies - Screen Studies is a dynamic new learning and research platform taking users from script to screen and beyond - offering integrated and diverse content to support film studies. The collection includes a wide range of iconic and contemporary screenplays; coverage of works by leading film directors; more than 230 critical and contextual eBooks covering the major genres, regions, people, movements and styles, and history.
  • Bloomsbury Fashion Central - Bloomsbury Fashion Central is a dynamic digital hub for interdisciplinary research in fashion and dress.
  • Bloomsbury Architecture Library - The Bloomsbury Architecture Library is a leading digital resource for the study of architecture, urbanism, and interior design. Its dynamic digital platform offers access to wide-ranging collections of text and image content, from architectural history to cutting-edge design guidance.
