Planning on staying productive during the Easter holiday? @LibraryDMU is here to support your studies and provide space for learning if you’re staying on campus.

DMU campus may be closed Friday 29th March - Tuesday 2nd April, but we have space and support for you across the Easter holiday period:

  • Kimberlin Library will remain open 24/7 every day over Easter with adjustments to our staffed service hours. Between 29th March - 2nd April Kimberlin will be open on a "self service" only basis with a Security presence. You’ll need your DMU ID card to gain entry. Check opening times here
  • Eric Wood Learning Space and The Law Library are taking a break over the vacation. We're operating a retrieval service if you need books from the Law Library
  • Our online resources and self-study materials are available 24/7 from wherever you’re spending the festive period
  • Our out of hours Just Ask service is on hand for remote support
  • ITMS out of hours service will be available from 5pm on Thursday 28th until 8am on Wednesday 3rd with the normal number 0116 250 6050. You can find a help page with common queries here

  • If you're in search of some  reading material for entertainment we'll have a selection in our extensive Leisure Reading Collection on the Ground Floor which you can borrow to take home, or curl up with a blanket in your favourite Kimberlin spot as well as ebooks and audio books on LIBBY.

  • If you like films and theatre, we have options for you to view from anywhere without the need for a subscription. Explore films and archive TV recordings through Box of Broadcasts (BoB). This service are free to view but you will need your DMU username and password to access these online.

Staffed services and support will resume from Wednesday 3rd April, full term time opening hours for all sites will resume from 15th April 2024
