Music, Arts and Applied Arts
ARTbibliographies Modern (ABM) is a database for the study of modern and contemporary art. Covers all art forms, including fine art, digital art, crafts, design and photography. Features full abstracts and indexing from art journals published from the late 1960s onwards. Also incorporates book records, including those drawn from the collections of the Tate Library and the Bibliothèque Dominique Bozo, Musée LAM.
This online resource comprises a collection of over 170 richly illustrated books with practical tools, guidance, and inspiration for practice-led visual arts courses. It covers a range of fields including design and illustration, fashion and textiles, architecture and interiors, film and media, marketing and advertising, and photography.
This online index is the premier source of information for all aspects of design and crafts, from textiles and ceramics to vehicle design, advertising and sustainability. The database covers journal articles, exhibition reviews and news items from 1973 to the present.
This online database provides indexing and abstracts for several hundred international music periodicals from over 20 countries, plus full text for more than 140 of the indexed journals. The database currently includes over 1.3 million records, the majority from the most recent ten years of publication. Some complete journal runs are included, with indexing back to 1874. Covers the full spectrum of subjects and all aspects of music, including music education, performance, ethnomusicology, musical theatre, theory, popular music forms and composition.
Technical
The ACM Digital Library is a key online database for computer science topics from the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM). It contains the full text collection of all ACM publications, including journals, conference proceedings, technical magazines, newsletters and videos.
The AES E-Library contains almost every Audio Engineering Society paper published at a convention, conference or in the journal from 1953 to the present.

EBSCO's Academic Search Premier is a multi-disciplinary database that provides active full text for more than 3,100 journals, including active full text for nearly 2,750 peer-reviewed titles. The database also includes more than 70,000 videos from the Associated Press. This collection of videos is updated monthly and includes footage from 1930 to the present day.
Scopus indexes scholarly journals covering science, technology, textiles, health, medicine and social sciences from 1960s to date. You may need to 'activate' your personal Elsevier account on first use of this resource. ProQuest Central brings together complete databases across all major subject areas, including Business, Health and Medical, Language and Literature, Social Sciences, Education, Science and Technology, as well as core titles in the Performing and Visual Arts, History, Religion, Philosophy, and includes thousands of full-text newspapers from around the world.
