Learning and Academic Skills Support Team are involved in many institutional projects with local school students before they may join DMU, including: School Events, Widening Participation Initiatives, Recruitment and DMU Aspire
Students at schools and colleges in Leicester or Leicestershire may be able to apply to get access to our Library Spaces
We deliver ‘’Campus Life’’ taster sessions in which Secondary School students are introduced to the different teaching and learning styles at undergraduate level
We deliver academic content in a unique programme for year 12 (or equivalent) students called DMU Aspire, designed to build confidence and give a full flavour of studying at university
We are always present during DMU Open Days - welcoming prospective students with a smile
