Write-N-Cite is a feature in RefWorks that allows you to pull in references into a Word document, creating in-text citations and a reference list within your document. It is essentially a plug-in within Word. In-text citations and references within the reference list can be converted to a different referencing style at a click of a button.
Once installed you should she an extra tab appear in Word. It will either say RefWorks or ProQuest.
Click on this tab and Log In.
Now copy and paste the log in code from the Write-N-Cite page in RefWorks (Tools > Write-N-Cite).
Your Word document is now linked to your RefWorks folders.

Write-N-Cite is installed on PCs on campus at De Montfort University.
If you are using your own PC or laptop you can download Write-N-Cite from RefWorks.
In RefWorks select Tools and then Write-N-Cite.
A new window opens giving you the option to download Write-N-Cite to your own computer.
