The Law Library, based in the Hugh Aston building, is currently closed. Current staff and students at De Montfort University are now able to place requests for items (books and articles from print only journals) from our Law Library by completing an online form. Short Loan items are not available as part of this service. Copies of articles will be provided as PDFs online, and reference-only items, such as “Library Use Only” books, will be moved across to our Kimberlin Library in response to your request, for you to consult there.
We will email you when your requested item is available or if there is any problem with your request. If you've requested an item which can be borrowed, you’ll have 5 weekdays to collect your requested item.
If you are not able to come into the library yourself, maybe because you’re a key worker in the NHS so can’t attend during our hours of operation or you’re self-isolating, you can still use this service. Use the space on the form to tell us who you want to collect the item on your behalf.
Please be aware of the following:
Our services are being delivered from the foyer in the Kimberlin Library with suitable social distancing and other health and safety measures in place.
