Special Collections - archives and rare books: Services for DMU Staff

Services for Staff

DMU Special Collections provides a number of services for staff of the university. If you think we can help you, please feel free to contact us at archives@dmu.ac.uk

Please aim to provide at least 4 weeks notice ahead of an event.

Archiving papers:

Special Collections aims to collect materials relating to the history of the university and if you don't give us your documents, minutes, notes, brochures, recordings and photographs then we won't have them for the future! If you are changing offices, having a clear out, retiring or leaving, please don't hesitate to approach us about your files - paper and digital.

Outreach:

Our team can provide interesting and entertaining talks, tours or displays about the history of the university and the campus. Consider asking us to help if you have:

  • special guests
  • events
  • conferences
  • alumni visits
  • team building
  • school/college visits
  • local partnerships

In addition, we can provide historical images and information for digital outreach to alumni.
