Latest Covid updates. The Kimberlin Library is open to students for essential study and browsing of print collections. For those not on campus we are also offering a postal loans service for items available in print format only.
Our friendly and helpful staff are here to help and support you with your studies, plus you will find lots of guidance online to help you navigate your way around the library and materials in your subject area.
Our spaces are currently open for essential access only and we have reduced study space capacity due to social distancing protocols.
Due to government guidance we are offering individual study only, no group study is available.
We offer quiet and silent learning environments.
Don’t forget to bring your student ID card with you, as you will need it to access the learning spaces.
You can study in spaces across the campus.
To keep you and our staff safe while using our spaces for study or for collecting print stock, please follow government guidance - ‘hands, face, space’.
Additional ventilation measures, including open windows, are in place to increase fresh air flow, and it might feel colder. Please dress accordingly.
Library staff and building attendants are available in our learning spaces to help you and to provide guidance on keeping safe. Please be patient and engage positively if they approach you regarding compliance of Covid protocols.
We have revised opening hours this term. Please check our Opening hours before you visit. You can also access many of the library's resources online 24 hours a day, wherever you have Internet access.
#YourLibrary: Explore what your library has to offer you on the Library Trail! Follow the trail round the four floors and find out where everything is. You can use the trail as a guide around the building, or have a look before you come and visit us so you know what to expect.
