Transform your freelancing and entrepreneurial skills

Transform your freelancing and entrepreneurial skills from wherever you are this summer by joining the free online ‘DMU Made Summer School’. Our award-nominated team will deliver an exciting series of live, one-hour interactive sessions, on highly relevant topics including freelancing, self-employment, business-startup and entrepreneurial skills. By attending, you will also gain an increased understanding of how these areas align to the key ‘Graduate Attributes’ needed to succeed in the rapidly-evolving world of work (where currently almost half of the global workforce is ‘self-employed’).

Whether you aspire to be self-employed and be your own boss, or to be able to apply entrepreneurial skills within a job role, our Summer School is the ideal place to learn.

As this is a series of sessions, and the content is inter-linked, students should aim to attend all three if possible. These 1-hour sessions take place at 9.30am on the following Thursdays:

  • 7th August
  • 14th August
  • 21st August

DMU students will also be joined by students from partner institutions in Kazakhstan, Malaysia and Dubai, allowing for some truly global discussions.

Please register your place today by visiting: https://my-gateway.dmu.ac.uk/leap/event.html?id=800&service=Careers%20Service
