Distance Learners: Library Request Services for Distance Learners

This service is not currently available because our library is closed as part of DMU’s response to Covid-19.  A wider range of online resources is currently available to our students here, which may be of use until this service is available again.

Distance Learner Photocopy/Scanned PDF Requests

The Photocopy/Scanned PDF Request Service for Distance Learners is not currently available.  Please do not attempt to submit requests for this service until DMU’s campus re-opens.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you need access to a book or journal article which isn't held by the DMU libraries, you can submit an online Inter Library Loan request - 1 per item requested.  You need to log in to the form with your P number from your DMU ID card (typed without the P), and your Library PIN.

Annual entitlements to Inter Library Loans are outlined below.

Depending on where we obtain your Inter Library Loan Request from, it can take up to 14 days to obtain the item, or a progress report on your requested item.  You can also use the My Account feature of the Library catalogue, which lists items you have on loan, have reserved or have requested, to track the progress of your ILL requests.
