MS Word

Word is a word processing software for text-based documents. You can format text in terms of font types, sizes, colours, and other styles. There are many features of Word that will be explored on our Student DIgital Skills Hubs. We will look at new features in Word 2019 and how to work with Word Online. 

MS Word is properly the most widely used word processing software and as part of the MS365 suite, you have interconnectivity with other Office applications and online collaborative features to support group work. For example, did you know that you can create a PowerPoint presentation from a Word document? We cover how to get started with Word and also how to utilize its many advanced features. You will properly use Word to write your reports and essays. So, it is important to know how to format a Word document into a report style and generate a Table of Content
