Finding commentary on Westlaw

To find legal journal articles on Westlaw select the Journals tab. For a more focused search e.g. to find articles about specific cases or legislation select Advanced search as highlighted in red below:

Looking for journal articles referring to a piece of legislation

Select the Journals tab and then 'Advanced Search' as shown on the screenshot above.

Search for articles on the Consumer Rights Directive (using the 'Legislation title' search box)

  • How many articles do you find?
  • How many full text articles are there?

Select the article entitled 'Looking back to see ahead: the changing face of users in European e-commerce law'

  • In which journal is it written?
  • Can you read the full article on Westlaw?
  • How would you check whether it is available full text anywhere else?
