What are databases?

Library databases are online resources you can search to find reliable information from trusted sources.  Databases can be general or subject specific and can include a wide range of content including full text journal articles, ebooks, reports, abstracts, conference proceedings etc.

Business Source Complete on Ebsco Platform

Business Source Complete includes academic journal literature, news sources and company / industry profiles from MarketLine.  Key titles include Harvard Business Review, Academy of Management Review and Management Science.  Use filters to narrow down to the type of information source you require:

 

ABI / Inform on Proquest Platform

ABI/Inform includes a range of academic journals and key titles such as The Economist and Financial Times (1 month embargo).  It has international news titles and a range of market / company data.

 

Emerald Database

Emerald provides academic articles and books relating to business, management, HRM, marketing and economics.  Key titles include Supply Chain Management and Journal of Services Marketing.
