The Assistive Technology (AT) Guide provides you with information about assistive software and training in the library.

Mind Mapping Software: 

The library can issue a free home license of the MindGenius and Inspiration mind mapping and visual mapping software to DMU students. To request a copy, click on the relevant request form to complete and submit.

MindGenius Home License for Students

MindGenius mind mapping software is available on all Library PCs and laptops. Students can also download MindGenius on their home computers for free (Windows only). Please fill in the online MindGenius home-use request form to receive the download details.

Inspiration Home License for Students

Inspiration Home License for Students

Inspiration 9 visual mapping software is available on all Library PCs, MACs and laptops. Students can also download Inspiration on their home computers for free (not available for MAC OS Catalina v10.15). Please fill in the online Inspiration home-use request form to receive the download details.

Note: MindGenius is a Windows-only app. If you are a MAC user, we can give you access to a smaller online version of MindGenius. Please email Digital Support to request MindGenius online as a Mac user. Alternatively, you can remote on to a standard Assistive Technology (OA) Windows computer on campus via YourDMULabs.
