Student IT and Digital Skills Induction: Your DMU Email Account (Outlook MS 365)

Your Email - Staying up to date

You can access your DMU student email via Outlook as part of MS365. This is your student university email account that the university, your lecturers, library and other support services will use to communicate with you, so make sure to check it on a regular basis. 

Your student email is in the format:

Pnumber@my365.dmu.ac.uk e.g. P1234567@my365.dmu.ac.uk

Accessing your email

MyDMU - Access and login to MyDMU and select the tile 'Email' this will open Outlook and your email inbox.

Office.com - Login to office.com with your DMU email and authenticate in DMU's Single Sign-on (MyDMU login details) and access the Outlook icon

If you have downloaded MS 365 Outlook will be accessible from your personal device from your Start menu on your laptop or computer.
