The library subscribes to many specialist databases of journal titles, these can be found through the Library webpages or through the subject guides
SCONUL Access is a reciprocal scheme which allows library users to use books and journals at other libraries which belong to the scheme, The scheme covers most of the university libraries in the UK and Ireland.

Researchers will often also use online research networks to share versions of their published research where copyright permits. So it is always worth checking these sources as well to see if you can obtain the full-text of the article you need.
