Alumni Visit!

Last week we had a wonderful visit from a visiting group of Alumni who were visiting DMU to see how the University had changed.

The group were all students at the Leicester Polytechnic back in the 1970s! The campus has definitely changed a lot since then.

They were particularly interested in the fate of their subject building, the James Went building.

Unfortunately the building was demolished and replaced with the Hugh Aston building but we had plenty of pictures of the building to show them instead.

The group were thrilled to find their names in their old graduation booklet. One alumni even came across a picture of the student halls where he used to stay!
